About this project

Product design & development

The problem

Daily collection figures come from different countries, in different currencies, with supporting files to keep track of. A report needs to make clear what has arrived and what is still missing.

The approach

Organise reports around a film and a date. Show country figures in their reported currency alongside a converted total, with supporting documents close to the numbers.

Design decisions

Start with the film

A film list gives each release a clear home for its daily reports and distribution countries.

Keep the figures in context

Country rows bring together reported amounts, converted totals, locations and supporting documents.

Share with the right people

Producers can view reports for films shared with them. CSV and PDF exports make the figures available outside the app.

The product

A web application for managing films, recording daily collections, attaching supporting documents and giving producers access to their films’ reports.
